About the role
We're looking for a Head of Design to lead both business units. Product and Agency.
Become a design leader in the creator economy space. Our view is that the design boundaries have not been pushed in this category. You'll pioneer designs that inform a new and rapidly growing industry.
You'll help us create strong design systems. You'll ship world class designs, and roll them out at an efficient pace.
Be an empathetic leader. We want to be a place where young designers come to learn. You'll lay the ground work for us to be able to mentor and grow our bench of design talent.
Work directly with high value clients on projects to ensure our designs meet Course Studio standards.
What we're looking for
5+ years of design leadership. You've lead a design team before.
Experience running design operations and exhibiting previous product team leadership skills (being accountable to metrics, etc.).
Exceptional UI capabilities and some work to prove it. We want to bring in strong interactive design to this space.
A resourceful approach to projects - you're proactive and great at self assigning tasks.
The ability to prioritize simultaneous project requests from various teams, and adjust quickly to shifting approaches, situations, and priorities.
Experience with the latest design tools. We use Figma here.
Aptitude in learning new PM tools like Notion, GSuite, Float, etc
Familiarity with online learning and creator platforms like Thinkific, Teachable, Kajabi, Podia, Circle, Substack, etc.
Understanding of front end development frameworks (HTML, SCSS)
